As it is well known it takes a lot of hellish efforts and energy for a woman to realize her business plans. Unfortunately it is a bitter reality. Every day women are busy with their career and family at 50% more than men. It means that at work and at home women work for two. And there is no need to specify what these double shifts imply.

That is why women’s ambitions are harder to be realized than men’s ones. This manifests as the notorious gender inequality. Most women have to work out their every step and foresee any consequences in advance. The major issue for every woman sounds familiar: “Shall I first settle down to married life to have children and than make a career or the other way around?” The answer depends on the personality answering this question.

The fist variant will be supported by doctors who will offer grounding reasons. It is certainly possible to postpone the birth of your child but this process tends to be dragged on for years. HR managers perceive a female candidate with children as the guarantee that this woman will not go on maternity leave in the nearest future.

“Cynical office-seekers” argumentation will also sound quite convincing: “First of all you should grow professionally to make money in order to avoid any financial problems in the future and then settle down to married life”

So, in this case victims are inevitable. And price for it is our guilt-ridden torturing mothers making career. It is incredible as it may seem but subordinates often complain about the fact that children of their superiors interfere with their parents work and fulfilling duties. Moreover female superiors are subject to such criticism twice more than their male counterparts.

Besides all this, many companies nowadays are ready to cooperate with working mothers.
To prevent your life from falling apart, the woman who has got the courage to become a successful business mother shall consider the opinion of those who already won this battle.

It turns out to be a complicated question that is not easy to be answered straight off. We were not definitely taught it at school.

I adhere to the idea that any person has 5 basic resources:
- Time
- Money
- Knowledge
- Skills
- Connections

Resources are gained and used for ACHIEVING GOALS since resources do not have any value of its own. It sounds quite silly to say: “I want 10 thousand hours of time” or “I want to learn Encyclopaedia Britannica by heart”.

It is curious that in our society it is usual to want MONEY, dream of MONEY and make career for the sake of MONEY. The goals are set in dollar equivalent and people are getting to believe in fantasies like “When I will be a boss and earn US$ 10 thousand per month than I will be blessed with happiness”.

I bet that if this activist has a chance to become a boss, he will face depression and disappointment in life. 100 green pieces of paper depicting President Franklin… hmm. We were hardly to dream of such “happiness” in our childhood!

If money is considered to be a resource than it shall be obtained for a specific goal such as building a house, going to vacation or buying a bicycle. It is much easier to make money if you have a motivation!

Let us look at the real life. Hundreds, thousands, millions of people are busy with a crazy rat race trying to exchange the resources of “time, knowledge and skills” into “money”. They believe that when they make a lot of money they will be automatically happy. Can it be true?

I think that happiness is something that comes from within. Happiness and joy can be achieved from the very fact of your being, every day and in each moment of your life. No matter what situation you are in, you shall be happy to be alive. Learn to live today, in this moment but not yesterday or tomorrow!

I do not understand the following revelations of some gurus: “Work hard, put 10% of your income aside and you will be happy soon.” It is not clear for me why shall I wait for such a long time? Every person has a lot of ideas and desires. And the world is full of resources to be used for its fulfillment. That is why we are able to achieve joy and happiness today!

I would also like to pay your attention to the personal inactivity we may experience. It happens when a person does not want anything, does not do anything and lives like a vegetable. Everyday this person goes to work, criticizes company managers, regularly experiences depression and drinking-bouts. It is very important to have dreams and the desire to achieve them. The more you desire the better for you!

If you do not have wishes there will not be any resources to achieve them. You will have nothing, especially money. What is the reason for the Universe to give you money if you do not know what you need it for? When you have ambitious, desires and goals you will get the necessary resources for its fulfillment.

In order to find out what your desires and goals are as well as to feel the taste for your life again you should broad your outlook by getting interested in new things, setting things going, making mistakes and not being afraid of it. Try to play your life!

Vanity. Successful companies are often super proud of its achievements and do not even notice that its production technologies and product promotion strategies have outdated, and the product itself have become inferior to the competition. The most telling example of it is the Coca-Cola Corporation, the strong and world known company that is engaged in selling carbonated drinks. The product has not been changed but the promotion strategy has an aggressive nature. Times change and people get more interested in natural and healthy food. As a result, the customer demand for natural drinks goes up.

1. If you want to work, do not blame yourself for giving less time for your husband or children. Perhaps you would be a better mom or wife being a business woman rather than staying at home all day long.

2. Do not expect any support from not working mothers. They would be indignant at your decision and take you for an “insane” mother.

3. Explain your silly husband that you will remain a true friend, loyal wife and loving mother if he allows you to get fixed up in a job. Moreover, the money you earn would be a good contribution to a family budget even if you buy some elegant clothes for work.

4. You will have to abandon the pleasures you have while staying at home all day long. Endless soap operas, long breakfasts, idle talking over the phone with your friends shall be forgotten forever. But isn’t it bad?

5. Looking for a job try to chose the type of business you would feel comfortable working in. You should be engaged in the business that you are interested in. That is why, search for the vacancies that satisfy your wishes even if they do not look that attractive at first. Do not neglect any job offer.

6. Do not be ashamed of your age. A clever, attractive and self-possessed woman over 35 years old has more chances to make a career nowadays.

7. Inform everyone that you wish to come back to work. Talk to your working friends and your husband. Ask them for advice. Visit recruiting agencies. Look through newspapers for vacancies. At the beginning any work may seem hard and boring but you have to get used to it.

8. Try to find the employer who will show understanding for your situation, offering in return your knowledge and skills, loyalty and diligence at work.

9. Find the work that you really like.

10. Always praise yourself for being a clever woman.

If you give a lot to people - the Universe repay you a thousand fold. Those who contribute their efforts into the business of their calling remind of an investment banker of the Universe. They are given money, then they invest it, than the income grows, then they are given more money and so on. We may come to a conclusion that those who waste energy resemble thieves who are given money to invest in a good business instead of wasting it. Everyone who follows this style of living is a true embezzler. Think over it!

Since money and health are just the Earth energies that the Universe gives us to make us happy and able to make much of the investments by investing in businesses, people and enriching our lives.

First of all, one way to be successful in business is to network. It is important to learn how to make and maintain connections. Networking is an important way to get your name out, be considered for future promotions, and meet new contacts who can help you down the road. It is recommended to attend seminars, professional trainings, exhibitions and conferences where you can gain new knowledge and make good connections.

Develop your self-confidence.

It is important to develop your self-confidence to make sure you get noticed as a professional. In order to feel confident you should be fully aware of the sphere of business you are in, be ready to participate and maintain conversation on professional topics, express your opinion and be ready to give reasons.
Show initiative.

Learn how to take initiatives if you want to succeed at work. Do not limit yourself by performing only your designated duties. Aim high and try to do more within your powers. Make suggestions on the ways to enhance the work in your department and implement company’s project.

That is why you should be selective when listening to your inner boss. And it is necessary to relax from time to time whether your inner boss likes it or not. Each corporation offers its employees not only overtime payments but weekends and vacations. Working for yourself you should plan out both working and resting time.

However, every experienced and mature person perfectly realizes the importance of this issue and is able to deal with it correctly. Moreover, experience and maturity is very essential for running own entrepreneurial activity. A man in a thousand possesses such exclusive qualities for starting business from scratch and succeed. For many people it is recommended to start working in a group of professionals to gain valuable experience, make good connections and work up a good reputation. Moreover, during this time you will have a great chance to determine your strengths and weaknesses and soberly evaluate the situation: whether you are able to work on your own without any control and support. If you feel enough power to start such endeavor – go for it! At least half of the world run own business and work successfully.

Most of us consider procrastination to be a simple deferment of actions or tasks to a later time but it is not quite true. Very often procrastinators get things done on time sacrificing a lot of time and going through totally unbalanced working process. How does it usually happen?

Before getting down to work there is a so called “starting run” process which includes creating a problem to be tackled, getting ready for it and having a cup of coffee or tea. Anticipating a disaster

The first feeling before getting down to work may be the feeling of despair: “I will not be able to do this!” This could be the way of thinking of confident people who do not suffer from the fear of failure. A task may be viewed as an unassailable fortress that seems not possible to concur. What to do? Try to break the task down into manageable pieces. Set priorities and think what can be done automatically, and what requires your full energy and attention.

Time management

It is known that there are people who can work on several projects simultaneously and those who can not switch their attention from one task to another. The latter have to work hard for along time on the only task and nobody should disturb them.

How people turn into procrastinators? It may happen while taking risks of working on a project from dusk to dawn, i.e. being incapable of allocating necessary amount of time for fulfilling the task. Since a task is to be done in a week, a procrastinator will use the whole week for finalizing it. How to fix this situation? Never delegate the management of your time (and live at large) to somebody else. Break the task down into several pieces and set the time for the fulfillment of each piece. Make a list of another much pleasant and important tasks that you wish to complete in the near time. This strategy will keep you in the timeframe of your “major” task. It is also worth to use a time register.

Hidden reason

Sometimes it is not easy to get down to a certain work since you may have a distaste for it. Although the task may seem to be pleasant. The matter is that you will have to deal with an unpleasant person during the course of the task fulfillment who you do not feel you want to deal with at all. How to cope with this? Again, make a list of pleasant and unpleasant things to do. By the way, they may be unpleasant due to unclear, not achievable and unrealistic objectives… They may be problematic rather than unpleasant. In this case you need to find the core of a problem to tackle it easily.

Fear of losing time

Sometimes you do not feel you want to start working on a certain task at all and none of the lists make you get started, on the contrary, it makes you feel disgusted. Deep inside in you mind you feel you will have to spend your precious time on trifles. This is the fear of wasting time and energy that could have been used for much useful things. What shall be done to fix it? Stop feeling sorry for yourself and replace the “I have to” affirmation with “I want to do this because…” There could be numerous reasons for it such as not to let certain people down, to harden your character and etc. If nothing helps it is worth to think over the advantages this work may give you for the lost time and energy. If the answer is “it gives nothing to me” you may reject fulfilling the task at all.

We are fully responsible for the situation we are in and we are the only people who can change our reality for the better.

You can not make your dreams come true or set up your own business; you can not invest money or just make savings for the future unless you believe in the success of your endeavors. If you settle doubts in your mind, you stop making attempts for changes and then you give up.

The truth is that the only way to really fail is to stop making any attempts.

If you try to make attempts to do something you will never fall short, at least, you will learn from your mistakes. Too many people do not even try to make a fortune for fear of failure and they never take risks. Life is already a risk. You will have the chance to change your life only if you make these changes yourself and believe that you are capable of it. Any changes imply uncertainty which means risk, and you will not be able to climb the next level of your achievements without leaving the previous one.
